For days I’ve been thinking what to say to you on this auspicious day of your appearance. But no matter how hard I was trying I couldn’t think of a single thing to say as a token of my gratitude and appreciation for everything you did to keep me close to you and on path of devotional service.
Once you said: “I don’t know Krishna, but I know Srila Prabhupada and I know what he did for me.”
Dear Guru Maharaj I can say the same... I don’t know Krishna and I don’t know Srila Prabhupada, but I know you and I know what you did for me. In the most difficult years of my life when I was practically on a way of leaving devotional service and ISKCON, you always took time for me. You called me to my office and you spoke to me. And it didn’t matter where in the world you were you always had time for me. You always replied to my silly emails and usually it didn’t take you more then few hours to sent back a reply. And today I’m sure more the ever that it’s only because I had your personal association and because you went an extra mile for me, that I’m still a devotee or better said that I’m still trying to become one. Thank you my dear Guru Maharaja for keeping me close to you and not giving up all hope over me.
On these day more than ever before I miss Your association and association of my Godfamily. Even tho I have association of wonderful devotees here in Gauteng, South Africa and protection and opportunity to serve wonderful Sri Sri Nitai Gaura Hari, I wish I would be back in Europe with all my Godbrothers and Godsisters preparing all necessary for celebration of your Vyasa Puja.
I’m just asking you to give me your blessings and strength so I’ll be able to serve you like you served your Guru Maharaja and that I’ll never deviate from instructions you gave me.
I really miss you my Dear Guru Maharaja.
