Today we are celebrating the appearance day of our beloved spiritual master, His Holiness Sridhar Swami. The ceremony that we are holding is called Vyasa-puja. Literally, Vyasa-puja means the worship of Vyasa, Srila Vyasadeva, who is the compiler of the Vedic literatures, the literary incarnation of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Spiritual master is being appreciated not just as the representative, but as the embodiment, the manifestation - of the same Srila Vyasadeva who was the greatest authority on Vedic knowledge.
"The spiritual master is very dear, because he is expert in assisting the gopis, who at different times make different tasteful arrangements for the perfection of Radha and Krsna´s conjugal loving affairs within the groves of Vrndavana. I offer my most humble obeisances unto the lotus feet of such a spiritual master."
